Touchstone Group is a placement agent and third-party marketer representing alternative asset managers to a broad array of potential investors, emphasizing distribution to North American institutions yet with significant European distribution capabilities. Our clients are managers with institutional-quality profiles in the hedge fund, private equity fund or venture capital fund arenas.

We serve institutional-quality alternative asset management firms regardless of where they are headquartered. Our global perspective makes us an ideal partner for European firms who wish to access the North American institutional and family office capital markets, and for non-US/non-European firms who wish to access the North American and European institutional and family office investors.

In addition to raising institutional capital, we consult to alternative asset managers to sharpen their marketing focus and convey the most accurate and attractive presentation of their firms and strategies to the institutional investor community.  Our long experience in the institutional markets allow us to get to the heart of alternative investment strategies, position a manager properly, and create compelling marketing materials that optimize the marketing and fund raising process.

Touchstone has extensive investor relationships and employs a disciplined marketing process to access institutional decision makers who allocate to alternative investment strategies.

We are agnostic about the investment strategies we represent at any moment in time, although we avoid simultaneously representing multiple managers with similar strategies. We prefer to raise money for strategies that investors will view favorably during the marketing period.

We build close relationships with our asset-manager clients and work to understand the nuances of a client's team, strategy, and execution. Our knowledge of institutional markets enables us to advise clients on how to best position and present themselves to investors.
